AOR Received.
March 14, 2014
Hi,

My application was received on Feb 18 and March 10th my credit card was debited by $550. However the application status on their website still says application received. The status should have been changed to the next level? I am really confused and scared. Can someone help me to find out when does the status on their website changes once they deduct the amount?

Please help guys !

No need to be scared.
You may not see a change for another 6 months or so when someone works on your file
Some people's never change! it depends on the VO

Just Relax.. it may take awhile to update the ECAS so you don't have to panic about it. Wait for at least a month or two for your AOR. :P

This is completely normal. The status of 'application received' begins when they debit your card and/or issue your AOR.

This indicates that the CIO has done the initial processing and found your application to be complete. If they hadn't, then your application would be returned to you, and "no file will be created or record kept" (see the instruction guide) meaning that you would not see any status at all.

You will only see the next status - 'In Process' - after your application has spent several months in the queue - so sit back and relax.
