Application status still same for Carleton university winter 2016 application

hello everyone, i want to find out if anyone else is also in the same situation as i. I applied to the sustainable energy engineering program at carleton university since august and just around November first week, the status changed from preliminary review required to review in progress by department. Since then the status hasn't changed, so i wanted to find out if any other person has the same issue because i know of only one person other than myself that has the same issue with the same department and the faculty of graduate and postdoctoral studies are going on holidays as from the 24th of this month. So i will like to get advise on what to do next.

did you make it? i am pending the same status and I have no idea how long it usually takes. i applied for fall this year but i need time to process the visa. plus it takes a month to send the conditions in the "conditional acceptance" IF i get it.
