My CoPR expired in October 2020. I am yet to receive further instruction from IRCC after the restrictions were lifted.

However, I got my passport renewed recently and I sent the renewed passport copy to IRCC. I received their confirmation saying that they have forwarded the document to the concerned office.
When I check my application status less than 24 hours later, the status has changed from ‘Approved’ to ‘Submitted’. I have no clue why this has happened.

can anyone help me out please. Has anyone encountered a similar thing with their expired CoPRs??

...because you've asked for the expired COPR to be re-issued.
Ideally that should be the case. But I haven’t received their preamble email to confirm whether I still want to go to Canada. This should be the first step, according to their new instructions.
