Hello,

I am permanent resident and applied to sponshor my common in law partner in February 2021, however today we received our documents back because of a missing handwritten signature on form IMM5669 (the form takes en electronic signature by typing the name however the checklist IMM5589 says it also needs a handwritten signature).

So my question are:
- Besides the obvious of completing the handwritten signature, do we need to start from scratch the application processand get new police certificates, pictures, bank statements, etc?

- Can I reuse the same payment recepit?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Thank you.

We have applied October 2020 for PR under family sponsorship and it was returned to us around January/Feb 2021 because the specific program was not indicated. It is supposed to be indicated under Family Sponsorship - Other relatives program and so we returned the application using the same documents and same payment receipts on March 2021. We received the AOR by May 2021. Now my application is on process. I have already done my medical and biometrics and awaiting for additional request from the IRCC if there's any.
