Hi,

My application was returned as they did not accept proof of date of birth from CGI (Consulate General of India). They mentioned that I can provide SSC/HSC certificate(s) etc. Do these certificates need to be notarized. Also, the name on these certificates show my name before marriage, will that be a problem?

Additionally,

1. Some of the documents I sent with the original package are missing, e.g. marriage certificate. etc...is this normal?

2. Can I resend the same package after replacing all missing documents. This would mean that the forms show the date/signature as of 26 June/2014, it is now mid-August.

No, just mention this in the cover letter that you will be providing.

Additionally,

Yes, it can happen. Just make copies of documents again.

No, you will have to fil and re-print all documents for the new application.

App rcvd 4th July. AOR not recvd.

IF you can get it, no harm in re-sending. It's always better to have more experience than required for the VO to not even think that the applicant has less than 12 months FT experience :D
 
Hi me4me.. sorry to hear that.. just wanted to know by which courier service they send back the package? I'm worried in case app comes back and no one is at home to pick it up,hopefully they would put a note. My app too was received on July 4th..
