I am self employed and on a WP and had worked for over a year.
I applied for EE hoping to go through the FSWP stream. The ITA received was for CEC. I looked up the IRCC website which stated that if the draw was for both CEC and FSWP, one would still get the ITA for CEC. I know that being self employed, the work experience will not count.
I filled the application but there was no place where i could have specified that I was applying through FSWP.
I entered my canadian work experience so as not to leave out any information.
Received a PFL stating the I do not qualify for CEC. I replied that I had intended to apply through FSWP and since the draw was for both CEC and FSWP, I requested that I be considered for FSWP processing.
The rejection letter stated that I was specifically invited for CEC and since I am self employed, the application was rejected.
How do I then apply for FSWP??
