Application rejected due to lack of experience

When sending information regarding your experience,

Is it ok to send copy of your resume together with employer references?

or

Is there some other format CIO prefers?

i dont think CV would make any difference but you can send it too whats important is the experience letter on your company's letter head from your employer giving details on your job description and your job responsibilities :-* :-* :-*
