I applied for a vistor visa in the U.S. last month and my biometric information was collected on February 21. But it seems that it hasn't been entered to the system (not shown in my ircc portal) yet. And I have uploaded a receipt via the webform after then but they only said they have acknowledged my receipt without any updates on my IRCC account (the biometric part is still left blank) . Today, I got a message saying my application was refused:
" I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/I-2.5/index.html) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR) (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/ index.html). I am refusing your application.
•You have not complied with our request for information, per subsection 16(1) of the IRPA. To date, you have failed to comply with our request for photographic and fingerprint evidence.
• You are found inadmissible to Canada under paragraph 41(a) of the IRPA: through an act or omission which contravenes, directly or indirectly, a provision of this Act."
I believe this should be related to the biometric information When I applied for my visa, I stated that I planned to travel to Vancouver in spring break. However, now spring break has ended. And I still got nothing but only a rejection letter.
Can anyone help me? What should I do to overturn this decision? Thank you so much.
