Application Received vs In Process

Hello Sr people ,
Can any one please educate me what the ECAS status "In Process" means ?
My ECAS changed to In Process from application received last week after 20 months of filing my application.Till now me or my lawyer heard nothing expect AOR In Jan 2014.
When In process is clicked , its displaying
1.received application
2.sent acknowledgment of receipt
3. we started processing

applied twice. nothing informative.
apart from the VO's concenrn about the difference of pay in T4 and NOA and job letter too generic.

Consider it a good sign. I had same status update around 15 August and on 10 September I got RPRF request.. Is the date for third line same as AOR??

Hope so my friend. Really sick of waiting from past 22 months for an update !!!!
The third line is we started processing your application from Jan 18 2014.

I do not have "sent acknowledgment of receipt" line. Only application received line and we started processing line. Is that normal?
However, there is two weeks gap from AOR received date and processing date showing on ECAS.

My is:
We received your application for permanent residence on October 14, 2014.
We started processing your application on March 4, 2015.

Hi, I am in the same situation. Application status changed from App received to In Process after 18 month.
