Application received on 11th August 2011 for 1122 Canada

could any one please suggest, my application was received on 11th of August, I have however not reveiced any communication thereafter, shall I have to wait longer for any confirmation.or it it high time for me to have received some info.

Since your application was received in August, it's extremely likely it did not make the cap and will be returned to you.

but as I understand the cap got closed on 21st of August, so considering this I should have made it..

August 21st is when they announced the cap was closed on the CIC web site. However many believe the cap was actually reached on July 8th. In other words, by July 8th they had received more than 500 applications for NOC 1122 - but it took them until late August to open all of the packages due to mail volumes.
