When should I realistically expect to receive AOR and be able to link my package?!

I'm Outland from USA with no dependants

You don't have to wait for AOR to be able to link, you can link (or at least try to!) as soon as CIC set your case up on their system (trouble is you won't know precisely when that will be). I would give it a week / ten days.

AOR is often around 2 or 3 weeks after receipt in Mississauga (although some people say they never got an AOR)

Do you mean they just never get it? Or there app gets sent back?

How do you even link your app if you don't get aor? I haven't been able to yet!

2-3 weeks is not bad. I saw someone on the spreadsheet get it in 5

I mean they never get a specific AOR. Sometimes the first they hear is a request for Schedule A etc. - for some reason the AOR does not appear to have been issued (who knows!).

There are data combinations for linking the application to your MyCIC account that do not rely on the information contained in the AOR, you can try those. You may not be able to link yet either because CIC have not set your app up on the system, or if they have, it could be just the usual nonsense that almost everyone has of trying to match PRECISELY what you type in with PRECISELY what they have. Do bear in mind that some people have given up trying to link. I think you can still use ECAS which is crude but gives some idea of progress.

Only based on the reports of others. My own AOR took 3 weeks (June 2016). Welcome to the wonderful and totally random world of the CIC spousal sponsorship process ::)

If I am able to link my app before aor, is it possible for my app to be sent back as incomplete still?
