Hi, I am new to this forum and apologise if the answers to my questions have already been addressed but in all honesty I would not know where to look.
Here goes:
I am a British citizen by birth and have lived in the UK all my life. My spouse's family now all reside in Quebec Canada and are canadian citizens.
I wish to apply for immigration to Quebec under the skilled worker program and I have downloaded the forms. The forms look straight forward enough but there are so many of them to complete. The first hurdle ie question 1. Family name at birth. My name at birth was one that i did not use throughout my life ie through schooling, university, work and nobody refers to me in that name. I have finally changed my name officially through Deed Poll to the name that I have used all my life and known by and my passport reflects this.
So when answering this question do i use my new official name ie the one displayed in my passport or do i use the one on my birth certificate.

Any other advise regarding the process and documents required would be appreciated.
