After months of working away on the application, the package was finally sent by courier last night. It's due in Mississauga the 31st.

I guess now comes the unbearable waiting (and second guessing stuff that should have been added or not included, in the application, LOL.

So, what's the next step guys? How do we get our login credentials from CIC so we can followup with where they are at with the process?

Congrats and you must ve feeling to light and fresh now.
Next step is stage 1, sponsor approval. By that you will get cred in the email or mail to login on the site to view your application status.
Good luck.

Congratulations and welcome to the worst part - waiting.

You won't have access to ECAS until a few days after you get your sponsorship approval. So about 2 months from now, assuming your application is complete of course.

I applied to Singapore as well. You may choose to add your details to the 2014 - Singapore Timeline in my signature. It gives you a good grasp of expected timelines.

Best regards

I know, we are or were all eager to login to ECAS to monitor progress. It's different for everyone but in our case every single status change that showed up in ECAS we already knew about, by the time ECAS was updated.

Coldstream - good luck! I remember that you put together a pretty solid application with lots of good relationship proof. I'd say you have a solid chance of your wife avoiding an interview and the application getting processed in a timely manner. Now the hardest part... being patient and waiting!

Thanks everyone for the good luck wishes. I went over the darn thing four times after being "done",a nd STILL found tweaks. I just had to 'let it go', LOL :P

And yes, now the waiting, which I'm lousy at to begin with. We're just wanting to finally close the distance, and God-willing, can see that happen in 2015.

hi! i'm just wondering if you are applying inland or outland and did u also passed an open work permit application?

Good luck, Coldstream. I know the waiting sucks - I'm there too!!!

Hi Orotibash, we applied Outland. As my wife is already working in Singapore, the open work permit application was not really applicable.

Good luck to you too. I agree, the suck level for waiting is quite high. Well, we've endured this long, we'll just have to tough out this last step :)
