Application form won't allow all fields to be entered.

I'm filling in my Generic Application Form and for each applicant it asks date and place of last entry to Canada. The form will not allow me to input any information into these fields.

Is it acceptable to hand-write the information in please?

Could you please elaborate more on your issue? What do you mean by the form won't let you type in any information?

Some of the spaces for answering get greyed out as you fill in your form. You do not need to answer those. Is that what you are referring to?

Even though the space wss greyed out, i hand wrote in the date of last entry into Canada. This paper generstes a barcode, so the hand written date wouldnt be included in the bar code, but i wanted them to have the date in case they wanted it.

Yes, handwritten is just as good. But the generic form shouldn't have this problem though. Maybe try downloading the file from the CIC site again?

I had the same issue as Tink23.
