Application for PR

Hi,
I have been working in Canada on a closed WP since last year and that marks my eligibility for Canada's experience points. My spouse is in Pakistan and we have applied a SOWP which is being processed since May 2021.

Is it okay for me to create a profile for PR while the SOWP is in process? Could that affect both applications or any other implications that could be caused?
