Hello,
Here's my case:
I arrived in Canada in January 2010 and got my work permit (Intracompany Transferee - Specialized knowledge) in the airport. I was working in Canada temporarily until August 2011 (I was still under the headcount of my home country, but used to get daily allowances in Canada). However, I had a SIN number and my company paid the taxes on my behalf for the above duration.
I was transfered to the Canadian headcount of the company starting August 2011. I've now completed more than 2 years in Canada and have more than 2 years of experience in Canada.
Can I apply for permanent residence?
Thanks,
Spring
