Hi all,

My husband and I applied for Permanent residence in Canada, under the Federal Skilled Worker Class. We were notified that the application has been declined due to ineligibility of the NOC codes we had entered on the application form (2171 and 2173).

Having revisited the NOC descriptions, my husbands work also falls under 0213 (which would qualify). Are we allowed to submit the forms again with the correct NOC code which does qualify (0213)?

Any advice is much appreciated.

Bea

If this NOC code (0213) fall under the minister 38 list, then it is ok.
You need to re-visit the ministerial list on www.cic.gc.ca/english.
Good luck.
Benny

Hi Bea,

Benny is right. Do so, but also write a nice cover letter to CIC explaining why there is a mismatch between the codes on the 1st apps & this one. That should see u thru.

All the best &
HAPPY NEW YEAR !

hi petal_bea!
what happened to your application? did you resend it w/ correct NOC codes? I did the same thing but my husband belongs to NOC 0213... I was confused by the ca immig website. just sent my applications yesterday... :o I'll try to call the post office if I can still hold the mail.

When did you send the initial app & receive your rejection letter?
