Application Approved but WHV runs out SOON question :)

Hey guys.

I have a situation I need help with, sorry if its already been asked (please tag me in the thread)

My PR application has been approved, I sent my scanned passport and head shots last week via Xpresspost and see they arrived in Ottawa last week, I have no update as of the documents being returned as of yet. My working holiday visa runs out in 7 days.

Am I legally allowed to work after this?
Do I have to go to the boarder to re enter on a 90day holiday eta?

Any help is much appreciated

Yeah, that's cutting it very close. If you can, wait until the last day of your WHV - if you still don't have your COPR by that day, go to the border, exit, and return as a visitor. But as a visitor, you will not be able to work until you land as a PR, unfortunately. This shouldn't take very long, however you do want to remain legal...
