How long does it usually take for CIC to send some acknowledgement that they have received an application (it was a application for spousal visa sponsorship from abroad)? Postal tracing shows that the application arrived in Mississauga on August 1st. I have confirmed that the email included is correct.
At what point should I start growing concerned - and what recourse can I take if there if there is no acknowledgement?
