On the 'Application For Permanent Residence In Canada' form should i attach a photo on the first sheet in the space or do i just send them the 8 photos they ask for?

Seems a stupid question but thanks for your help!

Place immigration photos in an envelope and staple the envelope to the second page of the application being careful not to put a staple through the photos.

perfect thanks....

On the Sponsorship Evaluation it asks you 'Your net personal income', my girlfriend (the sponsor) is in the UK on a work holiday visa but has to return home in June. She doesn't have a job and we have given evidence about her intent to return home but does she need an Option C Printout and to fill in the personal income field?

We are attaching her employment information while she has been in the UK including P45 income report.

Thanks!

I glued it on there. The application went through Mississauga ok, so I think that's ok :)

I've never heard of stapling the envelope to anything though. The envelope with my photos was attached with a paperclip. I would recommend avoiding staples if possible.

I did the same and had no problems as well.

they ask for 8 photos to be sent with the application, does that mean i need a 9th photo for that or did you use one of your 8?

I personally wouldn't glue anything. Have it in a small envelope if not given one by the photo studio. PAPER CLIP it to the application end of story.. don't deal in glue.. things could melt get smudged etc.. Leave it up to them to glue whatever needs gluing

Well... I saw a space for my photo and I wouldn't dare leave it empty. I was careful with the glue and I left it to dry a few days before packing it all in. I'm sure it survived the trip just fine ;) Besides, I saw the glue that the DMP used to put my photos on the medical results. Now THAT was smudged. lol

ukmike, I put 8 photos in the envelope, as instructed. I also needed 5 for the medical exam, so I just had 16 made with the photographer. In the end, I had one left over, not sure where I misplaced another one. lol

I would avoid staples as well. We just put my husband's and his daughter's photos in separate envelopes - we didn't put one in any "empty" photo spaces since the guide did not instruct us to do so. All it mentions is to place them in separate envlelopes and put the name & relationship to the prinicipal applicant on each.

I sent the pictures on a tiny ziploc bag and paper clipped it to the application. Everything worked fine.
