Appeal the removal order?...Ponga?? :P

Ok so I'm just getting ready for a negative PRRA decision....Prepare for the Worst, hope for the best kinda thing...

and I am wondering if I have a right to appeal to Stay the removal order as a foreign national??

I have heard that you can file a Stay of Removal, but probably not without a lawyer, who knows what s/he is doing.

Also, you said in a recent post that you had submitted your inland application BEFORE you had your phone (pre-removal) meeting with CBSA, but...I thought you submitted it AFTER that call.

Ok thats good! Im gonna stretch this out and appeal and maybe by then they will aprove my sponsorship and everything will be perfect lol...haahah ...yeah... ???....what!? Miracles DO happen lol

Nope...here is how it went...they came to my house...questions...blah blah...
then they called someone on the phone to set up my interview....
1st available date was in 3 weeks....
so I had some time to put it together and I sent it few days BEFORE the official interview w ministers delegate and CBSA dude...

so thats how it went

THAT could be your saving grace!

If you had submitted the Inland application AFTER the call, you would have been removal ready before CIC received the application.

Do you have your AOR?

Did CIC in fact RECEIVE your application before the phone interview?

Oh HOPE so!!

and even tho if was Faaaar from complete...They accepted it and sent our UCI #...and on CIC website application received...I was Sure they would return it as incomplete

and when I had the interview they asked me if I sent the application...and I told them I did....soooo....fingers crossed something awesome happens and I dont have to go!

Ok so we sent the application on jan 27th...interview was jan 29th....
and on cic website says they received application on jan 30

I dont think thats good ...But Ive sent it BEFORE the interview

You should definitely call a lawyer ASAP.

I don't think that CIC or CBSA cares when you sent the application, because it was received when you were [techically] removal ready.

Well guess I will wait to see what prra says...if its a big fat NO then I'll call a lawyer and try to appeal it...
