As long as one has valid status the entry cannot be denied unless the person has some kind of admissibility. I am not sure regarding visitor record though.

You need to apply multiple entry TRV for your wife, to be on safe side.

Good luck

1. No you don't require a multiple entry visa to enter Canada, as long as you have a valid TRV you can appear at a POE and apply for entry.

You need Visa for sure (Single/Multiple ).
I have WP and my spouse have visiter record ,
and we have multiple Visa.

May be rest options I am not aware

You and your spouse need a valid visa to re enter Canada. Does not matter single/multiple entry.

That's what I said my friend :)

So since you are on work permit - you need a TRV (multiple or single thats upto you.)
Your wife if shes on visitor .. she will have a visa validity for visiting stamped on the passport .. usually it expires on the passports expiry date .. she doesnt need a TRV she can walk straight thru immigration .

hey winterfox thanks, my wife has exact expiry as my work permit, it's valid until 2016, but we need to go on vacation, we just wondering if the entry visa should be okay. by the way how's ur pr coming along. I remeber you were jan 2013 applicant, did you re apply?

Hey Hichaman .. uve got great memory hehe . yea I was a feb 2013 applicant .. didnt know much when i applied and had my noc code chosen as per my job title instead of job duty .. so got a rejection after 17 months which was bad ... but I applied under a new employer in September 2014 lets see how that goes.

As per your vacation issue. You would need a TRV since ur on work permit and im assuming you dont have a TRV stamped on ur passport.
Your wife doesnt need it cos she will have her Visitor visa valid until 2016 till your work permit ends.
Its strange cos when my wife applied for a visitor visa they gave her one with a validity until 2023 thats 10 years from the day her passport was renewed in 2013...they didnt care when my work permit was expiring

Doesnt her visitor record mentioning anything like if she can leave canada and re-enter .. it should ideally state on it what the purpose of the document is
