I got a package in the mail yesterday, and it was.. a letter saying my Application for Permanent Residence in Canada has been approved!!
Also it had my passport with my Immigration Visa in it! -Dated February 9 to be exact :)

I am so happy! It only took 4 months! (CPC Berlin)

Jeez, Congrats!!! :D :D :D
I`m from Hungary and doing Inland application- so nice to see that Berlin and Vienna don`t take so long!

Congratulations with your fast aproval!

Could you tell me something about your background? Did you apply for a common law? And you are german?

Thank you so much. I am considering applying from inland but i think it would be much faster to apply from outside canada.

Hi Simon,

I am from the Netherlands, but Berlin is also the CPC for us.
You are right, I applied as common law. I did apply ouland, because it has a lot of benefits. It usually is faster and you can afford to make a mistake (right of appeal)

Outland still gives you the opportunity to stay with your partner, because you can just apply for temporary visitor visa's (6 months at a time)

Good luck for you guys! :)

Yes, it does give hope, right! :)

I wish you guys all the best aswell!

Thank you everybody for your congrats :)

@ J2M: I'm gonna land within 4-6 weeks. They are going to set up a meeting so that I do not have to leave and re-enter Canada, but then I can just go to an office here in the city (since Im already in Canada)
