AOR Issues/Delays

Does anyone know if CIC are backlogged on opening applications? I sent my application in and was received three months ago. This is our second application, so i was wondering if this is holding up the process of AOR. I just don't want to wait several months to learn the package was lost before sending another. Which I'm tempted to just send another in now.

I've also called and emailed but i cant get anywhere without the AOR.

Received Application on May 10th 2019.

AOR usually takes around 2/3 months. Maybe the application was returned? When the package is incomplete, they return it without AOR

Not had anything back in the post, I've checked and re-checked to make sure everything was correct, and looks good. Most people on the tracker have received it by now, and my last application was only 3 weeks for AOR. How much longer would you recommend to wait, another month?

Those who sent in May (at least people who applied inland) seem to have gotten the short end of the stick for some reason. Lots of folks didnt get their AOR until mid-late July, some are still without one. Do any of you on the application have a UCI from any other application process? If so, you can try to look up the status using the online tool to see if it's been officially received (the date it arrives is not the date they mark it as received and start processing).

Also, strange that you called and they were no help without AOR. I've seen posts from plenty of people who didnt have AOR and at least got a temporary app number so they could link while they wait. Maybe they did open yours and something was missing/incorrect and it's on it's way back to you?

I have a previous UCI from my last one, and I've not been able to link in ECAS or CIC. Still not had a returned app, but if it was returned and lost in th epost I'll never know. Looks as though then there was a hold up, ill wait another few weeks before I send another app. Cheers!
