AOR- how long does it take- as in right now in Sydney? 42 days? 55?

Hi All,

I've seen a few post that say the AOR letter/email varies from 42-50-60 days. Is there any way I can check on how long does it take to get AOR right now? I sent my application Sept 15.

I really hope that it's a bit faster now that summer is over (can't hurt to wish).

Also, any of your guys know how long does it take for a VO to open your application?

Currently CIC is taking about 60 days to send AOR.

Hey, in the case i don't get the AOR before 60 days from Sept 15, do you think I can apply for a Bridging Work permit without the AOR?
I mean, just to cover my back and don't risk it.
