Hello can someone enlighten me. I have done my biometrics, medical and received an eligibility letter decision which is AIP but haven't received an AOR since August when I submitted my application, Can I use the AIP to apply for OWP instead of AOR? I am under Spousal Sponsorship Inland. husband is a Citizen.

Please Help

Got it! Thanks a lot.
But, unless your current status in Canada is about to expire...do you really need to work right away? You may be nearing the finish line, so perhaps the $255 (unless the OWP cost has increased) could be used towards your celebration party when you become a PR.

Yah it's expiring in 3 months.. and as what I've read, the background verification takes a long process, it might be longer than 3 mo.s

Hi there, I have another question. Can I apply for OHIP with my eligibility letter?

Answered in another thread and yes, you can. I did the same.

Make sure you go to the big big one, not every ServiceOntario can do this (the AIP letter applying for OHIP). I went to the following one and they can do it there.
Toronto: Sheppard and Doris
47 Sheppard Avenue East, Unit 417
M2N 5N1
Toronto, Ontario

Bring a couple of proof of address document as well with you.
