Are you that guy who's applying inland, trying to find a job for that OWP, and asking on the forums to help you find a job?
It shouldn't be that difficult to find a job in Calgary, despite the recession, you just need to know where to look. Try Kijiji.ca, jobbank.gc.ca, or if you're interested in Moxie's, just go to a restaurant and send a resume. Also, lots of Filipinos seem to work at Tim Hortons, McDonalds, and warehousing as their first jobs.
