Anyone waiting "In process" for more than 60 days? Pl share

Waiting .......waiting ...... waiting.................... Looking for the post and postman becomes the man of the year!!! Every morning starts with a hope but disappears with frustration as soon as post man left without most expected deliveries for us............................ Isn't that the way you also counting your hopes along?????


All those hanged in process for over 8 weeks please share your time line.... I know people in the same boat having tremendous pain of waiting like me to keep hopes alive in receiving med req and or interview or whatever... so lets share to find out ways of consolation notes to exchange and share among us......

Pl join here and lets exchange to give some spice to our monotonous waiting time.......

I saw your timelines in one other post and i really thought that its been so many days and you have not received anything yet.
I had a impression that Sydney office in Australia would be more quicker to response than others.

I hope you get your PR soon...Good Luck

same here..counting on moon and stars everynight with the hope that a new wonderful blessed morning will come....but ....WAITING is the answer....HOPE is a compensation....whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is my my E CAS details given below for all your information.....

We received your application for permanent residence on August 10, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on October 27, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Sydney Australia office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the Sydney Australia office on November 4, 2009. The Sydney Australia office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 26, 2010

After waiting for 45 days I did make a case specific inquiry to my visa office (Sydney, Australia) and here I am pasting their response on 08 April

Good Morning,

Your file is currently for review with an immigration officer. We will be in further contact with you soon.

Just a bit wondered whats takes so long to make bcgd chk???
It also putting my confidence down too.... as I took long time to organize all docs, checked, rechecked and grouped them together with group pack title, cover letter....everything for a nice presentation to the IO..... Nothing came for me really good though so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please share all in same boat of your efforts so far made in this regard!!

By the way SAKI, i knw people under 4131 have had their visa stamped within 3 months under the Sysdney, Australia VISA office so don't be disappointed...on the VISA office... I may be some of the one have really bad luck..................

however I tried but not having much response from the other applicant of Sydney visa office to have a better idea of the usual processing time... But at CIC web the sysdney office claimed to have 80% processing done in 5-6 months and 40% done in 3 months... I consider myself to be poooor to fall in lower quartile!!!!!

Hi,

I know how does it feel when it stays In Process for long time. My application online status was In Process from November 2009 to Feburary 2010. I sent my complete file in August 2009 and it took a long time to get medicals.

Some times the wait can take long time but the In process status is a good status trust me. As it means that your application is eligible for processing (Subject to verification and background checks) and once these are done + medicals clear it means visa will be issued. So I know wait is killing but once you get the passport in your hand with the visa ......this wait is worth it.

Thanks Rocky a lot. Your word really inspired me... This is the principal reason i found spending time at this forum really worth..... to get some inspiring words... get some hope from the experience one/seniors already gone through...... an striking note and guide to find what to do next or strategy to follow....

Yeah waiting is boring and killing active lifestyle but as you told have to taste some for getting something really worth!!!

Hats off to you all those seniors like Rocky, Quorax, PMM et al.... keep it going for us.... until we can finish our journey

You registered In process at least 15 days ahead than me... I thought Manilla visa office is faster than sydney... Did u send any case specific enquiry? You can probably do that and nothing wrong in it although they might respond with some generic as did for my one...
