Anyone managed to get PR after the completion of 2 years of Diploma program ?

Thinking of enrolling trades program such as welding/electrical technician and so on ? I understand of having the risks that some people failed in that route(2 years of studying + 3 years of PGWP !)

However, I believe there are people who are successful in going to the Diploma route. What is the odd for that ?
