This is another "gee, i'm asking a stupid question again" question, but:

Yesterday -- after a week or two of checking every day, and finding no trace of my case -- my name suddenly appeared on the results page of my ECase (e-cas? what is it?) thing on the CIC website. . . . .

. . . .but that's it: Just my name. There is a single line of instructions under my name: "If you want to see the details of an application, click on the underlined status." . . .. but there is nothing else, no "Status" to click on, nothing underlined whatsoever.

I tried to view it on two other computers, to see if it was a problem with the browser I use, but I got the same results on each computer.

Any thoughts? Anyone seen this before?

Yeah, happens a lot. Basically what it means is that they've opened your application and logged it into the system. But since they really don't report much other than, "In Process", "Medicals Received" and "Decision Made" anyway, it's probably too soon yet for there to be much as far as a status for them to report.

They key is: don't expect too much from eCAS. It really is pretty much useless.

Hi,

You asked what is e-cas ?

e-CAS is : on line CLIENT APPLICATION STATUS
