I went to Carway border yesterday evening.... Bad decision. When I reached the border at around 9.00pm; there was a big line up to the US side. All the cars had canadian flags hanging in their car. May be they were going for a game. But as it was taking too long; I stepped out the car by the canadian border to enter the canadian office from the side door. Usually people can access washrooms there. I saw a young border officer. A nice guy and I asked him if it was possible to do the landing without entering the US. He then told me " oh... but the immigration services are closed at 6.15pm. You had to come back in the morning. We are open from 7.30am to 6.15pm. He kind of felt bad for me and helped me to turn around the traffic and get back to my way to canada. I was tired. But I'm going back just right now to complete it during the day.
