I resigned my job and my last day is on August 30th, but I have a closed WP and it expires on April 2014 only. And I know it's the rule that you can only apply 4 months before the current one expires.

I'm very concerned, because I need a job, but I don't know if I be able to get one!

Help, please, share experiences!

Do you already have an AOR/Eligibility? Then you can apply for an open work permit.

You can give it a shot by giving an explanation or cover letter saying why you are applying for BOWP when current permit is not due to expire in 4 months. Please follow below post for more details.

I agree. Attach a cover letter explaining your situation. Maybe your lucky and get it approved.
