I am actually a transfer student which means I have completed 2+ years of Bachelor studies in Pakistan at a renowned university. I managed to get my credits transferred to a canadian university and for that I just had to submit my educational certificates + transcripts from my local institute + stamped course outlines. that proves you've had completed your past education in english. I'd say confirm it with your university first if a language test would be necessary. just give them a call or drop in an email. what session are you considering going in to? if there is enough time, reappear for ielts just to be on the safe side.

If you belong to India then IELTS is a must for getting your visa under SPP. and it is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED if you are applying under University or General category.

Your IELTS score of overall 6 is fine for getting your visa. The minimum requirement of IELTS for visa is 6.

Although the exact IELTS score for University and General category is not mentioned in their respective checklists but it is believed that the IELTS score of overall 6 with each section greater than 5.5 is required.
