It will take around 10 days. Don't worry.. But call them on 001 877 700 0043 and ask that they receive your funds or not..!

I transferred funds on 11th november, same status, no GIC received.

dude it took me 21 days to receive GIC (funded on 25th oct)..what u can do now is wait till last week of nov and till then communicate with the NOVA SCOTIA Bank
u can call on the number +14162883062...a customer care representative will answer ur phone ..then u can talk to that person and tell him ur problem ..if u think this person wont understand ur language or accent tell him to transfer the call to the extension number 63085 and talk to DEVENDRA ..he is an indian so u can tok to him in ur language ..if u dont get it by december last week just go ahead with the swift copy ...and attach a paper explaining that u did not receive ur GIC certificate even after funding it ..thats it u r done ..all da best

Yay!!! I got my GIC just now!! I paid on 8th of November but the transfer was not initiated until 11th November.

Received email notification on gmail stating that I have a secure email waiting. Checked secure email and waiting was my GIC!!!

God is really great!!
