I work for company that wants me to stay, I have 8 months on my visa left.
I have 1 year of NOC B with the company.

Has anyone been through this and have any important tips?

When your employer advertises the job, make sure the LMIA advertising requirements are met - otherwise refusal is guaranteed.

- Job not advertised according to the LMIA requirements
- Salary below the median
- Plenty of Canadians available to hire for the role

If the Job is very specific, do they have to interview people who don't match the requirements that the company needs?

And you do? The only one in a whole country? :)

I suppose they have to provide resumes of applicants and a proof of interviewing them, and reasons why they do not fit.

lol no. But I do know they had a really hard time finding someone before I showed up.

And there are things that I do now that are part of the job that are very varied. Job kind of spans a number of skill sets.

not saying I am some special person, just have the experience.
