Hi yoyojaab,

Good luck with your application!

Did you send ur docs to the Singapore office?

Are you doing it yourself or have you hired a consultant / lawyer? My friend in Thailand has been trying to locate a good lawyer / consultant, but it seems there aren’t many practicing out there.

Any suggestions?

I have not send my full docs to Singapore yet. Just sent initial docs to Nova Scotia.
And I did it by myself.
Your query about representative in Thailand.
My suggestions are
1. I never seen any reliable consultant in Thailand.
2. Gathering infroms on this web is the best.
3. If there is a good lawyer in immigration law,it's still too expensive.
Once I asked them couple years ago, they told that they will charge me almost 3000$.

Hope my post will help you.

Hey yoyojaab,

Thanks for the information. It’s exactly as I expected. I wonder why it’s hard to find a good representative there. Is it that Thai people (in general) are not interested in Canadian immigration? If that’s not the case, it could be a good (potential) market for immigration consultants. I know there are LOTS of Canadians working / living in Thailand….so they should look into it.

Cheers!

That's partial right. Lots of Thai people want to immigrate under family class sponsorship.
It's hardly to find Thai appying under FSW.I don't know why.
If you know Canadian who live in Thailand, this is the good chance.

Yea, lots of Thai restaurants in Toronto region, but I’m not sure if they are operated by Thai families cuz the food doesn’t even come close to the great Thai flavors from the streets of Bangkok! I went to many restaurants which were looking for Thai chefs, so if you know how to make real Thai food (esp. sum taam, tum yaam kung, phat kaphao, keang khewang, etc..)….you may add additional "SKILLS" to your application ! ;)
