There's some information on the forum already if you search for "Egypt timeline". Also have you tried Trackitt? Might be some information there too. Those things if you'd like some instant information.

And of course the CIC website which is showing 5-11 months for Cairo on average.

i know but alot of my friends the processing time take between 1-2 months not more !!!

Are you sure the time lines your friends provided is correct? I think it would be impossible for an application to be processed in 1 month. And impossible or almost impossible for the application to be processed in two months.

There are two steps to the sponsorship process (assuming you applied outland).

1) First the sponsor is approved (this step normally takes 1-2 months).

2) Then after the sponsor is approved, the applicant's part of the file is reviewed (this is the step that takes 5-11 months for Cairo applicants).

When your friends are staying that their applications are being approved in 1-2 months, I think they are only talking about step 1 in the application process.

i mean tha processing time in cairo visa office take 1-2 months not more but not 5 -11 months it's toooo long time

my file in canada take 4 months ana now in cairo visa office 42 days so how long i will wait ?????
