Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
In order to prepare for the FSW in May 2013,
Is anyone going ahead and sending their documents to ICAS in advance? Or has anyone done that?

I remember there was a discussion that many thought it was worth it to take the chance and send the documents, and if our NOC comes up, then we can just upgrade the assessment (as per ICAS website) rather than waiting...

so is anyone doing that?

tx

any feedback?
I'd like to do it by tomorrow if I get some positive feedback on this one...
Occupation is an in-demand skilled trade occupation (but no job nor certification from Canada so cannot apply through Skilled trade stream)

would appreciate some feedback on whether seniors think this is a good idea or not...

There are already approved agencies which have been identified by CIC in the past for this purpose. But, specifically for FSW program, they are re-assessing those agencies. My advice will be to wait and let them get out with the list first, instead of spending money twice.

No, at least one year of full-time paid work experience is a must to apply under FSW. Also, the work experience has to be in an occupation under the occupation list that CIC will release in April.

2.Cic will do credential evaluation?
No. Agencies designated by CIC will do credential assessment.

somebody have experience help me to get some idea.

Thank you for your reply. I was working as a part time physiotherapist . Can I use tat? It wasn't full time . If u have a work experience am I eligible. I am already in Canada , is it for people who live in outside Canada and immigrate to Canada ?

It doesn't matter where you live. YOu can apply for it from inside or outside of Canada.
Part time work can count if it is paid. You would have to work for a continuous two-year period for your part-time work to count as one-year equivalent.
