Hi,
I am working in WIPRO. Like other companies here i was not able to get any good letters. So what i did is i sent them all the letter that i have received from WIPRO (Offer letter , appointment order , salary hikes , confirmation letter).I also submitted my tax forms(tax returns and tax filing forms). Then i took letter of recommendation from 2 Project lead(my friends)(i am a proj engg).I took their business cards also.I also got a letter from my university. Finally i wrote a letter to them explaining the problem in my company in getting a proper letter.I submitted my salary certificate letter from wipro , a reference letter(stating that i am an employee in this org frm this date to this date) , and an address proof letter from wipro.

I submitted my forms on jan4th . They have taken my passport and have also asked me to pay the RFPR fees. Once I received a letter from the immigration officer asking for more proof on my job there and my bro's residence address. No questions came from them regarding my current employer.

I have a job offer , a positive approval from HRSDC and my bro is a PR there. So i am not sure if they were happy with all that i have sent.

All the best :)

Why do such large firms deny experience letters? What a shame. You are not a slave working for them. Why work at all with such hypocrites? Don't people have something called self esteem? They will do anything to make some money? White collar slavery? Why don't people sue such companies? I was a whistle blower against a big Indian company who were abusing the H1B and L1 visas in the U.S. All these Satyam, TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc are slave companies working under U.S. wages. The day uncle sam stops paying, they will be just another slum dog.

Wipro specifically is a very very bad company; ppl should resist joining Wipro; they make you behave as if you were Premji's personal slave

Hey,

Oracle is also same, they have a specific job description defined by HR for every title, they will give only that description. Though it doesn't come near to our actual work duties, I am hopeful it will work with consulate.

regards...!

so, this is basically a dead-lock for all working in large IT based MNCs.

We can only hope the the CHC ND officials have discussed this over coffee and they all agree to give us a benefit of doubt :)

hi

I am also planning to apply for canadian immigration under skiller worker category and I also work for company like TCS, Infosys. My manager accepted to give me reference letter along with Business card but as you know he cannot give the letter on TCS or Infosys letter head. So it is ok to get the letter on a plane paper and apply?

Thanks
Ravi

it's better to have one one plain paper than not have it at all :) can you pls PM me which company you work for exactly?
