Anybody has ever had hard time after applying for a visa as a refugee in Canada?

Hello Everybody.

I am a convention refugee in Canada since 2009. I Applied for PR status and i am still waiting for it.

I wanted to see my family in Morocco ( i am not from Morocco my father doing business there ) so i applied for a tourist Visa at the Morocco Consulate in Montreal.

I have a travel document from Passport Canada because i dont have a passport ( because i am a refugee )

I had an invitation letter from my fathers business partner in Morocco.

So i applied with these documents and whatever the lady ask from me i provided them at the consulate.

I waited 2 weeks for an answer and finally i got rejected. They didnt issue me any kind of visa. In addition to this they didnt give any specific reason that why they rejected my application.

So my question is If i cannot get a tourist visa from Morocco how i am going to see my family ??? or how i am going to go for a vacation with this travel document which Canada provided me.

What are your opinions ??

1. IMHO its a very bad idea to depart Canada prior to acquiring PR. This may have been the risk factor for Morocco but it could be due to to other reasons e.g. you don't have a steady job, not enough income etc - contact the consulate and ask why.
2. Either your family members travel to Canada or find another third country that you can travel to and try apply there.
