ya you can apply... i got it not an issue.....

I called up BLS office to inquire about this; they confirmed it’s mandatory and asked me to contact consulate general of India.

Did u get guys applied through BLS office in Toronto?

you need to obtain a NOC from Consulate General of India (sherbound) and submit the same and BLS and then they will process your PCC. otherwise they wont.

Hi Kalkeya,

Can I directly go and ask for NOC from consulate office? Or we have any separate process for that, like fill some specific form and submit?

Any fee involved for NOC?

Write a email to indian consulate (infosec@cgitoronto.ca) get the reply and attach with your application.

Thanks you all for the information

That's true. But for applying in Toronto BLS one should have the workpermit valid for atleast 6 months...which is not in my case. That's the reason am asking for any alternative

Thanks
Ravi

I didn't even know about this 6 month condition when i applied for PCC in Toronto. And BLS pleople didn't mention it during application. My WP was less than 6 month when i applied. I would suggest you to just go there and try.

I just went to the consulate and they put a note on my application which I had to go and submit at BLS. Got my PCC within 2 weeks.
Tip: You can send an email to the consulate after you submit your application at BLS with the reference no. requesting faster processing(If needed).
