Any steps to be done before creating an online account in CIC website ?

Is there any step needs to be done before we sign up and create an online account in CIC website ? Or we can do it anytime with no restrictions ? This is regarding FSW Express Entry..

Nothing specific...you can modify your answers before you submit anytime.
>>collect all your documents,last 10 year personal history, education, employment etc and apply for PCC, ECA because it usually takes couple of months.

You MUST have your IELTS (or language test) results AND WES report in your hands before creating an EE profile, all the other documents can be done after that.

Really ? Why not ? I thought I would be able to prepare my online account gradually till I receive the IELTS and WES report..

What would be the problem if I do so? Appreciate your highlights ..

As for WES because of time, it takes 20 business days to get your report, and add a few more days (if delivered by courier) to receive them in hand, to create a profile you just need to know your report, if you already do then go ahead create it but start WES asap cause it takes time, and if your do recevie ITA you only have 60 days to submit all your documents, so then time won't be in your favour

But for IELTS, this isn't optional, in your EE profile you must state your IELTS results, so without the IELTS report already in your hand you can't create a profile.

You'll also need a valid (for years) passport.

He'd be very helpful at organizing your documents and making sure you don't fall into dumb mistakes (cic cancels your application for the smallest of reasons) but other than that i dont think so, you can do it on your own
