Hi everybody,

I have been reading this Forum for quite sometime and acquiring information on the subject. I had some hope till the new list of 38 was not announced. But unfortunately, my occupation does not come under the magic list of 38 occupations. I also do not have any close relative in Canada and getting an AEO is also almost impossible for me. What are other options left for me so that I can get Canada PR. I have tried some consultants and they have advised me to go as a Stugent. While on Student's visa side by side I will be able to work for 20 hrs a week and after one year I can apply under FSW. Is it true. Seniors, plz advise.

Thanks in advance for replying to my query.

after 1 year , you can apply for FSW, if you have 67 points.

I dont know about 20hours work.

Hi Rupeshhari,

Thanks for your reply. I have also checked about Study option at the CIC website and have found that it is a costly affair (around C$ 30K p.a.). I will look for other options.

Anyway thanks..

If you apply for graduate study in Canada, there are often scholarships you can get to support yourself there. While studying, you may have a TA or RA and work part time. But remember, you need at least 1 year of full time work experience so you will need two years to be able to apply. These are my understanding ONLY!

Hi,

Thanks wpc71. I have talked to some consultant. They are advising me for getting an AEO on behalf of my spouse (being eligible by virtue of qualifications and experience) by sending my Resume to different employers in Canada. They are saying to arrange for AEO. Is there any method to check the genuineness of AEO or so? Is it possible to get an AEO in the present scenario. I am finding it difficult to believe him. But I have no other option. Seniors, plz throw some light.

Thanks in anticipation for your reply.
