Any one applied for Travel document while waiting for PR card

It's been 70 days no news of PR card yet for me..it have flight on 18th for carlifornia which means..I have 2 weeks .I don't think I will receive my PR card by that time. And I can't miss this meeting already missed two because of wait...can any one share their experience of applying for travel document in us at California or Houston. Is this. one day process ?

Hey gladaki,

Did you call the call centre to see what's going on with your PR card? I was asked to submit new photos, did it last week. Still waiting.

not sure about the answer on original question but worse comes to worse you will need to enter Canada by land border using your COPR & passport...

According to the CIC website, your choices are New York or Los Angeles,

Don't know how that can be right...
