any idea how can i get a Job Offer for IT professional for Australian Citizen?

Hi,

I am an IT professional with NOC code 2282/ 2281 working for state government in Australia. I am over 30 and not eligible for IEC experience. any idea how can i get a job in IT over there as i have an extensive experience.
Even though for B.C. Tech stream it's not easy to get a job. I am an SCCM consultant. Any kind of reply will be much appreciated.

Why do you want to move from Australia to Canada? It is not much different, except that you'll have worse weather.

It's extremely difficult to secure a job offer in Canada. Best advice is to forget about trying to secure a job offer and focus on qualifying to immigrate without one.

Being Aus citizen gives you the privilege to come to Canada and at least do some job interview. You can work your way up to reach network. Perhaps come here first for few weeks (since both countries are visa-free), apply for jobs and do some interviews and see where you fit prior you make the big move. Hopefully you land a job before your settlement.
