Hi, I would like to try for CAD express entry and here are my credentials:

36 years old
University Bachelor's Degree Graduate (already certified by WES as equivalent to a 4-year bachelor's degree)
IELTS (L, R, W - 8; S - 8.5)
14 years work experience in the IT Industry both as a People Manager and Project Manager (NOC - 2171)
From Philippines
I have a son but I am not married and no longer with my partner. Wanting to bring my son, but if leaving him for the meantime will boost my chances, we are okay.

After submitting my profile, I got 403 points.
Realized that recently, draws are hovering around 440+

Any way to boost my points?
As much as possible, would like to spend minimally but open for anything to increase my chances.
I would prefer not to have consultants as I saw some cases where they were able to proceed without it (and most consultants I've talked to are asking about USD 2000 - 2500, which is quite hefty)

Thanks

Hello ,

Unfotunately crs scores have never dropped below 413 ever since express entry was launched. Currently a lot of applicants from the usa who did not get h1b visas are applying for pr thus increasing the cutoff scores.

Your option is to be selected under a provincial nominee program. If selected it will give you 600 points thus ensuring you get an ita.

Thank you! Are there any provinces that do not require a payment upfront? I've browsed a couple and seems like all of them require upfront payment to apply for the provincial nominee program.

Any suggestions to be successful with PNP (I know it's a broad question - but I don't know where to start)

Thank you!
