Got my biometrics correspondence letter on 20/10/2020 however no updates yet till now. Is it possible that they are still waiting for updated DLI list and once the school you are enrolled with is approved that is the time they will send your application result - approved or refused??

Have you received an AIP before the BVL dropped? Is your DLI among the COVID-19 readiness approved list of schools?

Ya it is possible. Read in another thread, they said they would only prioritize visas for Students whose DLIS are on the list. Not sure if this is the reason.

No AIP since I submitted my application on Oct 1. Fanshawe is not on the list yet.

This is also being discussed on other threads I just saw now :) Let us hope for the best

I wouldn't want to be a harbinger of bad news; if you have not received an AIP or medical request before the receipt of a BVL, chances are high that it might be a reject. Your case might be different though; just be hopeful.

Please, if your DLI is not COVID-19 readiness plan approved, and you received BVL or OPR, signify. Thanks
IRCC India said in a webinar today you'll not receive an approved study permit and any trv issued months ago will be deactivated until an institution goes on DLI covid ready list.

According to the press release from IRCC, even if you get your SP, you are still not allowed to travel if your DLI is not on yet on the list  .

Thanks but AIP is only applicable to those who applied until Sept 15. I am in UAE, medical was not required.

Also there were a lot of approvals yesterday in Philippines without AIP. However, their schools are listed in DLI approved. :)

Given the second wave of covid most provinces are currently focusing on trying to get covid numbers under control. Allowing more people to enter, many from covid hot spots, and spread across each province is a concern/risk so would expect DLIs may get approval slowly. This is also mid semester so schools will continue online for th3 rest of the semester.

Any update? We're praying you get positive news.

Thank you so much! No updates yet after 4 days. I am starting to worry but keeping my hopes high.
