Are there any 2013 CEC applicants still waiting for any updates or requests from CIC.
I am Nov 2013 applicant and still waiting for meds/requests from CIC. heard nothing after AOR.

Have you ever called CIC at 1888-242-2100 or applied for GCMS notes?

You are way passed the processing time for CEC applications.
 
I know a friend of mine who applied back in October 2013, and got stuck in 2nd review. What does your GCMS notes say?

Yes i called many times , even via MP.
Same answer , background verification is under process.
GCMS notes says ,review required due to the job duties are generic

Did you send an updated employment letter to CIC with more detailed job responsibilities and duties?

Yes i have sent that document voluntarily in Jan 2015 and heard nothing till now
 
Did CIC sent you any emails to acknowledge receipt of your updated employment letter? Has the updated document been reflected on your GCMS notes?

Yes they acknowledged that they received updated Letter and its reflected on the latest gcms notes.
 
Same here, I am NOV 2013 applicant, haven't heard anything from cic!!!!! No medicals requested yet. Called them 10 times, ordered Caips notes twice. Looks like it's been 18 months and they haven't approved my eligibility yet. It's still in process!! 18 months is lond enough to get PR already. I am so frustrated.

Hi , any reason in the caips/gcms about the application being delayed.
Can you please let me know your time lines.

I worked as an Assistant Manager in retail industry. And so there are 2 things that they are questioning: salary and previous experience.
“No evidence of previous experience with business or in industry is provided. It is unclear why PA would be given a supervisory position without any apparent qualifying experience. Salary seems extremely low for such s position. Review recommended.”
However in my application I mentioned that while I was a student in Canada I already started to work part time as a sales person(different store) , so I do have experience in the retail industry (part time for 3 years). And regarding salary, if they think it’s suspicious I think 18 months - is long enough to give a call to the company I worked for ( it’s a big company with stores all over Canada), they could have called my District Manager, Regional Manager or HR department and ask them why salary was low. I also already sent them an additional letter in December 2014 explaining that is was low because of commissions and seasonality (busy for Christmas but slow for summer).
And as for timeline: My application was received in Nov 2013, in Dec 2013 I got AOR, in May 2014 they requested Police Criminal Check and they received in in June 2014. And I haven’t heard anything after that, So it’s been way too long.

Yah same here , not sure when this waiting time will come an end.Heard nothing after AOR in jan 2014.
