What about proof of fund for CEC candidate??

s it necessary to put the minimum required funds in profile for CEC to get the PT or does anyone got PT by putting zero in funds section in profile ?

xilji I put 12000 even though I am applying under CEC. I don't know if anyone got PT without it.

Jaiveer: I know for those who live in canada they have to have a valid status: visitor, worker, or student. I really don't know the cases where the application does not live in Canada. Anyone can help with this please?

Hi Guys,

One questio- Can i apply for OOPNP even if i have no links to Canada and presently residents in my home country? As you all said we need to have valid work permit

This quote is found in the application guide:

"Assessment against FSWP criteria:
blah blah blah...
...
Note: OOPNP will only consider arranged employment in Ontario. Arranged
employment outside Ontario would contradict your statement of intent to reside in
Ontario and result in a denial of your application to OOPNP. Where there is a
conflict between OOPNP and CIC eligibility criteria, OOPNP criteria will prevail in the
assessment of your nominee application.
For more information on the FSWP criteria, see Appendix 1. You are advised to
consult the CIC website while preparing your submission to ensure that you have
the most-up-date information at:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp"

Hi friends,

I just call Opportunities Ontario. Here are the summary:

1) There is no minimum wage requirement for Ontario Express Entry. The minimum wage requirement in appendix 2 at the bottom of application guide is only for International Student/Foreign Worker stream and not for express entry.

2) CEC applicants don't need to have POF

3) Even if you have to prove POF, your money does not have to be in your bank account for the past six months

4) You need to send your official language test result. Copy is not accepted (even though the guide clearly says copy!)

5) Bank statement can be copied online by you and it does not need branch's stamp

6) You can apply if you are on implied status, but your application will be finalized only after you send them your new work permit

Hope this helps

What does it mean by money should not be in your bank account for the past 6 months? It can be less than 6 months?

Hello, I have received an Territorial Interest under Human Capital Priorities stream. I just have a question regarding regulated occupations in ON that is not regulated in my country of origin. Do I need to get mandatory certification before I can apply for nomination? Or I can do that once I am nominated or have landed in Ontario? My current occupation: Human Resources Manager

Yes. Only the amount has to be equal to or more than the minimum POF applicable in your case and it shouldn't be encumbered which means it shouldn't be borrowed (either in part of completely) from anyone else.

Thanks for your reply. I had recently opened a new bank account as my last bank was troubling me. Now I have bank statements of 3 months from last bank which is from year end 2014 (3 months). My new bank account I have bank statements from past 2 months.

In all the bank statements I have sufficient settlement funds and my salary has been going in as well.

Should I submit both the old statements and new statements together with payslips?

Thanks for your help!

That should do if the aggregate balance in both accounts is more than the minimum POF required in your particular case. As for what details to be mentioned in the letter, have a look at what CIC says (in addition to what OOPNP guide says).
