I'm beginning to put together the B4 forms for my husband who will be landing in January. He will be crossing the border just to land and then returning to the US to finish up work for a few months.
Here are my questions:
1. How specific do you have to be? For instance, is it necessary to list toiletries?
2. We're not exactly sure how to assess the value of some items. I'm assuming it's okay to just estimate the value of things like books and clothing?
3. Is it okay to create a spreadsheet instead of listing items on the B4/B4a forms?
4. When my husband lands, he will only have a small full of a few clothes but will be bringing them back to the US with him. Should they still be listed as goods that he is importing now?
5. How will it work when my husband moves to Canada in the spring? Is it simply presenting a copy of the B4 form from when he originally landed? or is it more complicated than that?
